Doris lone Chambers, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and pillar of her family, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2024, at the age of 92. Doris was born on May 4, 1932, on the family farm in Scott County, Illinois, the eighth child of Oscar and Joy Albers. On February 11, 1951, she married her childhood sweetheart and neighbor, Frank Chambers, with whom she shared a remarkable 73 years of marriage filled with love and companionship.Doris's life was defined by unwavering dedication and boundless love, and also took pride in her homemaking. Doris remained steadfast in her dedication to Christ, which sustained her throughout her entire life. Doris attended Saint John Lutheran Church in Bluffs, Illinois, where she was baptized, confirmed, and married. She also continued to actively serve in various churches that she was a part of.Throughout her life, Doris pursued two significant careers, first in fine jewelry retail where her eye for detail and elegance shone bright
