His visitation will be on 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM Saturday, June 29, 2024, New Horizon Christian Church 14038 E 350 North Rd, Heyworth, IL. A service celebrating his life will be 3:00 PM Saturday, June 29, 2024, at the church. Pastor Ernie Stone will be officiating. Private inurnment will be Park Hill Cemetery Mausoleum, Bloomington, IL, at a later date. The family suggests memorials be made to New Horizon Christian Church. Arrangements are being handled by Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, IL. John was born August 8, 1938, in Bloomington, IL, the son of John J. and Nellie Weber Moncelle Lanham.
