Lulu Belle Love October 15, 1935 - June 24, 2024 BLOOMINGTON - Lulu Belle Love, 88, of Bloomington, IL, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024, in Normal. She was born on October 15, 1935, in Shelby County, IL, to Orville and Oma (Edwards) Garner. She married Billy Dean Love on November 21, 1954, in Stewardson, IL. He preceded her in death in 1995. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one sister Nada Newman; and one brother, Glenn. Surviving are her two sons: Dennis (Linda) Love and Michael (Debbie) Love; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Roy Carpenter) Love, Christopher (Mackenzie) Love, Jacob, Alexandra and Madysen Love; great-grandchildren: Lincoln and Sawyer Love all of Bloomington; sister, Sheila Renner of Stewardson, IL; and multiple nieces and nephews. Lulu was a 1952 Valedictorian graduate of Stewardson-Strasburg High School. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years before retiring.
