Steven J. Salz, 55, of Hudson, IL, passed away on August 17, 2024 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL.He was born April 17, 1969, in Streator, IL, to James and Linda (Zimmer) Salz. He married Danielle Zulz on November 16, 1991, in Wenona, IL. She survives.Also surviving are two sons, Kyle Salz of Dillon, CO and Kalin (Haley) Salz of Minonk, IL; one daughter, Kennedi (Bailey Real) Salz of Henry, IL; three sisters, Kim (Bill) Puetz of Leonore, IL, Tanya Hoffmann of Peru, IL, Nikki (Mike Bird) Hoffmann of LaSalle, IL; his mother, Linda (Mike Joerger) Hoffmann of LaSalle, IL; and one granddaughter on the way.He was preceded in death by his father, James; one sister, Tami Salz; and his grandparents, Arnold and Helen Salz.Steve, known to many as Guido or Stevie, cherished his family above all, relishing the time spent with his wife and children.
