David RamseyApril 3, 1938 - February 26, 2025It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our loving father, David Dean Ramsey on February 26, 2025.David was born on April 3, 1938, to Winton and Jesse Ramsey and grew up in Brookfield, Ohio.David attended the University of Cincinnati, where he earned his bachelor's and master's degree in business administration. He married Lillian Terwilleger from Cininnati. He continued with his education, receiving his PhD in Economics from the University of Minnesota and became an economics professor at the University of Missouri. David, Lillian, and their three children relocated to Normal, Ill., where he became a professor for Illinois State University. David retired from Illinois State University as Chairman of the Economics department. David's hobbies included hunting, fishing, and visiting his family. He was an audiophile and had an impressive collection of vinyl records.David is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Judith Dawso
