Young, 80, of Saybrook passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Carle BroMenn, Normal.Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2025, with a funeral service to follow at 12 p.m., all at Wesbein United Methodist Church, Saybrook. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Saybrook. Memorial donations may be made to A.S.P.C.A. 424 East 92nd St., New York, NY 10128. Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Saybrook, is in charge.Sharon was born July 19, 1944, in Mason City, a daughter of Harry and Ethel (Hall) Tomlinson. She married Tom Young in November 1982. He passed away in 2018.She is survived by a daughter Shannon Croft; daughter-in-law Jodi Hall; stepchildren Steven Young; Susan (David) Baker and Veronica (Larry) Lewis; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by parents, husband, children Jason Hall and Matthew Hall, and brother Gary Tomlinson.Sharon was very outgoing.
