Kathryn WinterrothJanuary 29, 1963 - March 10, 2025Kathryn "Kate" Winterroth, 62, of Bloomington, Illinois, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025, at her home.Kate was born on January 29, 1963, in Bloomington, Illinois, a daughter of John R. and Carolyn (Kent) Winterroth. She graduated from Bloomington High School, class of 1981. She attended Western Colorado University in Gunnison, Colorado from 1981-1982 and Illinois State University, Normal, Illinois from 1983-1984.Kate had a deep love of the Pacific Ocean in La Jolla, Calif., the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, and especially the love for Lake Bloomington in Illinois. Kate's greatest joy was being a mom to her son Carson. She also loved being a preschool teacher and friend to others. She enjoyed family get togethers, going to Carson's many baseball games at the Pony Fields and the wonderful four years of Carson in the Bloomington High School Marching Raiders. Most of all she loved watching Carson "Bloom and Grow" at Illinois Wesleyan
